The hub bearings in a 1998 Z71 can not be repacked. The bearings are part of the hub, and the hub assembly will have to be replaced.

T-55 Torx Socket (DO NOT USE AN ALLEN WRENCH) - To remove the 3 bolts that secure hub assemble to steering knuckle. 1 -3/16 deep socket - To remove axle spindle nut.

No you cant,, find dually spacers off the front axle from a Dodge dually from i think 94-98 bolt those on the front axle of your Chevy,, or find Chevy hubs

The nut on the axelshaft is 177 ft. LBS. The 4 bolts on the bearing hub is 133ft. LBS.

If you are asking about adjusting the wheel bearings there isn't any adjustment. The front hub is serviced as an assembly.

The rim is rusted to the hub. Keep hitting the tire with a sledge hammer, or get a bar behind the wheel and pry with all your might.

Did you remove the big snap ring that's inside of the hub. It's hard to see.

The front wheel hub on a 1999 Chevy Lumina is connected to several suspension components. Loosen and remove all the components including the lower and upper ball joints. Pull off the hub assembly and install the replacement.
