DO NOT GAP THEM... you will ruin the platinum finish and they will not fire correctly. Trust me, it cost me $150 to find that out. Install them right out of the box.
Number 8 spark plug location on a 4.6 liter ford 2002. Is located on the Driver Side , Last one near the fire wall...
Pull the wire off the spark plug, pull the spark plug out, plug the spark plug back into the wire, then have someone turn the engine over. You should see a blue spark jumping around the very bottom of the spark plug.
On a 2002 Ford F-150 : There should be an information decal in the front of your engine compartment that shows the type of Motorcraft spark plug to use and the spark plug gap ( the Vehicle Emissions Control Information decal , VECI )
