The spark plug gap for the 1987 Chevrolet S10 4-wheel drive pickup with the 2.8 liter TBI 6-cylinder engine is .045 (in thousandths of an inch). The spark plug tightening torque is 7-15 foot pound.
There was no 2.8 Liter V6 installed in a 2001 Chevy S10. I posted a link of firing orders that year.

if you are talking bout spark plugs, they are located in the side of the engine just follow the plug leads from distributer to the other end.
the gap is 0.060 inches
You need a 5/8" spark plug socket.
