It can come with either a Getrag manual 5 speed, or an automatic 4 speed with overdrive

How do you replace the alternator on a 1988 Pontiac Fiero

Yes. The final year of Fiero production ( 1988 ) had power steering.

Any correctly running Fiero can beat any stock S10 One is a pickup and the other a sports car They both use the same engines. Nuff said.

Fiero does not use a speedo cable There is an electronic sensor mounted on top of the transmission that both the engine computer and the speedo in the dash read to get the speed.

1984-1988 pontiac fiero with the 2.5L engine or any pontiac with the 2.5L engine

Standing straight up in the drivers seat.

Pontiac Fiero made from 1984-1988

On the exhaust pipe, from where it leaves the engine, but before the catalytic converter.

It should be listed on the RPO decal on the top of the inside left front fender.

Try cleaning or replacing the Idle air control sensor.

The 2.8 V-6 engine was first used in the Fiero in the 1985 GT. It was called a 2.8H.O. engine and had 140 HP. It was the same in 1986. However, the same engine was used in other GM cars but had 130HP. In 1988 Fiero horsepower was reduced to 135. how ever they say 140 HP but dyno tests proove that the 86 fiero gt has 200 HP

No the Pontiac Fierodid not come with power steering.No. They did come out with an Electrical power steering unit, but it only came with the 1988 Fiero's. Look into them. Idkif you can put them on any other year but i would like to know to put it on my 86 GT.

Assuming you are speaking of the front hood, and not the rear engine cover, yes, the 1987 hood will fit the 1984 Notchback. All front hoods are the same, 1984 through 1988. There is a vast parts interchangeability including exterior, interior, electrical, chassis, engine, and transmission, with the 84 through 87 models. Some changes were made in 1988, for instance larger brake rotors, better suspension, etc. so not as many parts are interchangeable with the 1988 and the other years.

i think but i can be positive that it will run he quarter in 14.9 there is a vid on you tube called fiero vs mr2 it has more details

There are two reasons. The first is the bulbs in the lamps could be blown or the fuse that run them are blown.

This depends on what year your car is. The 1987 and 1988 tanks were about a gallon larger than previous model and will interchange.

A good auto audio shop can fabricate one for you. Or, you might try Crutchfield.com

700r4 is the stock transmission for all third gen camaros. the 700r4 is also known as the 4L60E

This could be the famous Italian sports car Ferrari or the less-known GM car from 1984-1988, the Pontiac Fiero.
