How does BioShock 2 end?

In Bioshock you play as a man named Jack, the only Survivor of a plane crash at sea, finding himself at the entrance to an underwater Dystopia called Rapture. Jack learns that in Rapture, a compound was discovered named 'ADAM', harvested from sea slugs, which allowed people to manifest amazing powers such as being able to throw balls of fire or ice.

This addictive substance caused the city's downfall, the population devolving into insane 'splicers', battling to extract the compound from other civilians. Also involved are 'Little Sisters', young girls who host the slugs inside themselves and extract ADAM from corpses, as well as their iconic 'Big Daddy' protectors, superhuman guardians grafted into diving suits.

Jack learns that part of the unrest in the city was caused by a conflict between Rapture's founder, Andrew Ryan, and crimelord turned businessman, Frank Fontaine. He learns about these events from the voice recorders left behind by dead citizens, as well as a living ally, 'Atlas' who helps guide him. Ultimately Jack learns that his presence there is no accident, and that his will is not entirely his own.

Bioshock 2 is about a Big Daddy trying to find his Little Sister Eleanor. You play as the Big Daddy who was killed by a woman named Sofia Lamb. After Andrew Ryan fell, Sofia Lamb took charge and became "Rapture's Mother". Before Eleanor became a Little Sister, she was Sofia Lamb's daughter. Although Eleanor wants you to find her, Sofia Lamb makes almost all of Rapture turn against you in order to prevent that.

On 1959, during the Rapture Civil War, Subject Delta (Main Character) was doing the normal round with his Little Sister names Eleanor Lamb(they are the first one of their kind). During that night Sofia Lamb, Mother of Eleanor Lamb, Gets out of jail and looks for her little one. When she finds her, she and 3 allies grab Eleanor Lamb and fight of Subject Delta. Subject Delta becomes brain wash in to killing himself. 10 years later he comes back to life looking for Eleanor Lamb

Basically, you are the prototype big daddy running around in rapture and your little sister gets saved. You get Big daddy hypnotized and are forced to shoot yourself. You wake up years later with an unusually strong will to protect your little sister who is now in the hands of one of rapture's top politicians. Your mission: To save your little sister from becoming one of rapture's most corrupt leaders. The events of Bioshock 2 take place 10 years after the events of bioshock 1 (which makes the year 1970).
