If by "represent" you mean "what is celebrated," then Easter Sunday is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead after being crucified and laid in a tomb for three days. It's the most important day in all of Christianity because it is the resurrection of Christ that is the very reason for salvation, the very reason that Christianity exists. If Christ had not risen from the dead, he would have just been another failed social leader, a criminal executed. Instead he was raised up and filled with divine life, taking upon himself all of the sins of the world and destroying them through his sacrifice.

On the day that we call Easter Friday, Jesus Christ was killed by the Romans. His followers mourned him. Three days later, on a Sunday, The Bible says that he came back from the dead, talked to his followers, and then left Earth to be with his Father God in Heaven. Christians celebrate this because it is said to show God's love for his children.
