I believe it is absorbtion...but in not entirely sure..i think its absorbtion because the cilia is to increase surface area so more absorbtion in the digetsivve track is possible...hope this is helpful and i hope in not giving false information!

to line parts of the body. an example would be the skin. ciliated (tiny hairs) cells are found in throat, folopian tube and simple are found in stomach, intestine etc .. they contain all the normal organelles and can divide by motosis.
