The air force has about 17,000 personals, which includes 500 pilots.It has 200+ operational air craft.The fighter fleet includes MIG 29 C, J 7 BGI and purchase of SU 27 flanker and YAK 130 is in process.The AF also has several point air defence systems.
The navy has 22,000 personals.It 2 guided missile frigate,3 petrol frigate,4 missile corvette, several dozens of FAC(missile,torpedo,gun). It is also in the process of acquiring 2 guided missile frigate. It also has a special forces unit called SWADS,which personals are trained by US navy SEALS.
BGB is the paramilitary force of Bangladesh, which has 60,000 personals. It's primary duty is to protect the border but in the case of a war it acts in the same line with the army.
Other forces are Ansar & VDP,, which have about a million combat trained personals.
