I believe that is the term - "Separation of Church and State".
The religion with the most flexible rules is the religion where the only question asked is "what is the religion with the most flexible rules?" and the questions "what religion is true?" or "what religion will grant salvation?" are ignored.
There is no religious term for chocolate. Chocolate is food and food generally doesn't have religion connected to it except for rules about eating it by some religions.

When speaking of the US Constitution, it should be noted that the term of "separation of Church and State" appears nowhere in the Constitution. What the US Constitution prevents is the government from establishing a State sponsored religion or make no laws regarding the establishment of religion nor prevent the practice of a peoples religion. As a comparison at the time of the US Constitution, Great Britain's state religion was the Anglican Church.

The relationship between the State and religion had a more important role then did the dogma of any specific religion. Roger Williams and his adherents held that an individual alone could act in matters of conscience and that State had no role to play in enforcing the rules of the Church on the Citizen.
