The main theme of the book "Eragon" is the classic hero's journey, where a young protagonist must navigate a world of magic, dragons, and destiny to fulfill his potential and defeat evil forces. It also explores concepts of friendship, loyalty, and the balance between power and responsibility.
eragon is just a name of the main character. Eragon's namesake is the first Rider ever and he-who-has-brought-peace-to-the-dragon-war. I think Christopher Paolini got the name 'Eragon' from the word 'Dragon' and there is also a name 'Aragorn' so i think he just came up with eragon. I'm not the genious who came up with the name and the story so ask paolini if you want more information!
I think you mean the moral of the story right? I thought it was more about how your future can always change and that Eragon, who was a small farm boy in the beginning became a dragon rider and rebelled against an entire empire
Always be true to yourself and never give up without a fight. A cliche would be "with great power comes great responsiblity", but an English teacher would not accept that. They would also say that a theme statement cannot contain "you", be advice, or a summary of the story. So, a good theme statement would probably be something like "Anger at authority leads to tragedy" (of Galbatorix killing his elders for not giving him a new dragon). I may be looking more at the series as a whole however.
about an boy, Eragon, 15 years old, who goes for an hunt, then he find a blue stone and try to trade, but the stone has some secrets, there's an baby-dragon inside, named, Saphira. he goes on an adventure to kill galbatorix, the last dragonrider, cause galbatorix is a bad man. but you have to read the story yourself.
Saphira1
Did you mean the genre or what it's about?
Either way I'll tell u both.
The genre is action, adventure and fantasy.
What its about is a young farm boy of 15 called Eragon finds a mysterious blue stone in the Spine (Forest). The stone turns out to be an egg and it hatches 4 Eragon. Eragon raises the female dragon and names her Saphira. Eragon becomes in great danger when he discoveres that he is the last dragon rider left in Alegaisia and the evil ruling king will do anything to capture Eragon & Saphira and enslave them. So Eragon and a used-to-be dragon rider called Brom set out on a fantastic journey full of action, mystery, evil, and fantasy, all the while evading the King's men and the horrible creatures the Razzac whom are enslaved to the King, to Reach the Vraden whom are the last remaining people (apart from the elves and dwarves) who still fight and stand against the King and his empire. Along the way Eragon meets many characters including Jeod, Angela, Arya and Murtagh whom has a dark and scary past and plays a very strange big part of the next book in the series, Eldest.
Overall I loved Eragon it had me hooked from the beginning and I just couldn't help myself from going out and buying the next two books in the series straight after I had finished! Cant wait 4 the 4th book to come out.
Hopefully youll luv eragon as much as i did but I garantee that you will probably love the 3rd one the best coz everyone Ive asked (including myself) jave said its the best book in the series so far.
Everything in life takes sacrifices, and our futures are not set in stone. Even the smallest farmboy can rise up and topple an Empire. Sometimes, the good of the many outweighs the good of the few, or the one.
"What wisdom can I give people that they haven't already learned? What feats can I achieve that an army couldn't do better? It's insanity!"
Dragons and their riders going against Galbatorix.
No one knows yet.. we are still waiting for the final book..! Most Probably we will know at 2010-2011

Be a good person
the theme in the book eldest, it is that Eragon is going to learn, that's where the most of the book is telling you. Saphira1
The five main characters in the "Eragon" series are Eragon (the protagonist), Saphira (his dragon), Brom (his mentor), Murtagh (his ally and friend), and Arya (an elf princess). Their relationships and interactions drive much of the plot in the series.
cuz eragon is the main character in the series.
Five integral characters in Eragon are Eragon, Saphira, Brom, Murtagh, and Arya. Eragon and Saphira are doubtlessly the most important characters out of them.
The dragon riders, magical stuff and Eragon
Eragon finds a dragon, named Saphira, and becomes a dragon rider. The dragon is one of the main characters in the book.
The main problem in the first book of the "Eragon" series is that Eragon discovers a dragon egg, which hatches into a dragon named Saphira. This event leads to him being hunted by the empire and its evil king because having a dragon is seen as a threat to their power. Eragon must flee and embark on a dangerous journey to learn about his newfound powers and the legacy of the Dragon Riders.
The main ones are the Ra-zac, the Shade Durza, and Galbatorix.
It is and always will be Eragon. But sometimes the chapters switch to Roran or Saphira.
Characters: Eragon, Roran (Eragon's cousin), Arya (elf who got the egg to Eragon) Saphira (Eragon's dragon) Brom (storyteller/dragon rider/Eragon's dad), and galbatorix (main antagonist).
You can read the book Eragon online at the site, Read Any Book. Eragon was written by Christopher Paloni.
I think the main theme of this book would be guality of life.
