Look on the inside of the door frame in the driver's door. There should be a sticker that indicates correct tire pressure for front and rear. This is typical on most cars and not just Subarus. Note that the correct tire pressure for a car is not necessarilythe same as the "max PSI" that the tire itself states. In fact, it usually is less.
According to Wikipedia: "The Forester is produced at the Gunma Yajima Factory in Japan" If in doubt, look at the driver's door pillar where they list the tire pressure. Mine says "Made in Japan".
