Do you mean to compress the calipers? if so, then you can use a "C" Clamp, just take the old brake pad and set it against the caliper piston and tighten the clamp down until its fully compressed. Hope this helps. It will help if you have the master cylinder open 'cause if you don't you'll be getting a workout cranking on that c-clamp.

You will want to open the brake fluid reservoir first and remove some brake fluid. Then use a special brake depressing tool, or screwdriver to push back the piston on the caliper, do one brake pad at a time. And install in reverse order.
