What is the top speed of a 2007 Yamaha r6?
I have had mine to 168 and it still have some more to go. I would say around 175 or so.
about 178 mph
stock speed is slightly above 160mph
OWN A 2007 R6 IN RED AND WHITE........THE TOP SPEED I HAVE HAD IS 172MPH...................SEVERAL TIMES
176 mph get one and see for yourself
All stock it could do around 155 mph
enough...unless you want to go faster than 300km/hour
the 2007 yzf r6 gets 38 MPG (average)
it'll top out at around 75 - 80 mph, though it will push faster speeds with adjustments
The 2008 YZF-R6 was the first 600 to break the 170mph barrier, achieving a top tested speed of 172.34mph stock (A little over 277km/h).
Depends what gsx-r you're talking about. If you're talking about the Hayabusa, then that would win in the top speed. Check it out on youtube, Hayabusa vs R1. The R6 is the smaller version of the R1. The R1 is better for track, the R6 is better for canyon and city riding. The smaller Gsx-r 600 is a good competition for the R6, but the R6 is better at corners.
ive frequently seen 160 with no problem, after that, the cruise to 169 takes a while. it will prob go a few miles and hour faster, mayyyybe 173. ive hit 169 a few times.
yea but why if you really want to do that go to smaller sprockets but beware for everything you lose at top speed your going to gain in torque and the bike may get to be more than what you want to deal with
im 17 and i have an 07 r6 and so far i had it to about 175 but that wasn't quite at red line. i have heard from others with the same bike that they have gotten to 186.
yamaha r6 300 km/h
it goes 320 or about 300 like most bikes now

top end is faster other then that, there isn't that much of a difference.
Is there a question in there somewhere?
Lowering your Yamaha R6 should not effect the way it corners. Lowering a motorcycle should never effect its driving ability.
The Yamaha R6 motorcycle is a very fast bike. It has a newly designed engine and is a superbike. It is very cool and has a very good reputation for customers.

Yamaha r1 will beat anything off the line
In 2006 Yamaha redesigned the R6 and narrowed the gap even further between the race and street versions of the bike. While the more aggressive riding position and high RPM power increase attracted track enthusiasts and sport bike purists, the prior year design still had a loyal fan-base. Yamaha decided to the re-badge the prior generation and continue making it as the R6s. The R6s has a more relaxed rake, slightly higher bar position, and… Read More

depends on what kind of bike you are looking for. the r6 is a sport bike while the gs500 is a sport touring. for the long haul, i'd take the gs500. good power and very comfortable. for the short sprint, then i'd go r6 all the way. very fast of a 600 when comparing to other 600's of that generation.
make a piece of tapered pipe to fit from one muffler to the other then weld them together.
