What is the towing capacity of a 1994 K2500 Chevy Suburban with the 454 7.4 liter engine and factory tow package?

Since the Owner's Manual does not give the towing capacity, I contacted a local dealer and was told the towing capacity for the 1994 Silverado Z71 was 7200 pounds. This information was not taken out of a manual, but came from one of the technitions who stated he owned a Silverado. I have not been able to verify this as of yet.
