He's been known to flip flop in and out of opinions on trades on his Mad Money television show such as his now infamous Microsoft (MSFT) calls in the summer of 2006. In 2006, Cramer made NYSE-Euronext (NYX) his stock of the year and famously kept recommending it throughout the year until its price was cut in half and he finally capitulated. These trades have been recorded here http://www.stocktagger.com/2007/07/jim-cramer-track-record-on-nyse.html

However, some Mad Money recommendations have lead to spectacular gains for observant viewers such as his 2007 call to buy Jones Soda (JSDA) stock and then to sell it at its peak after it had nearly tripled. This trade is recorded here http://www.stocktagger.com/2007/08/defending-jim-cramer-jones-soda-jsda.html

He's right about 47% of the time. That's below industry average. You can go to the link below to see actual recommendations made by Cramer compared to the actual market outcome.

Jim Ryun has the fastest mile time in a high-school only track meet. Alan Webb, holds the high-school boy's record at 3:53.43, but this was set in 2001 at the Prefontaine Classic, which is a professional meet.
