Celebrations are generally themed around all things Irish and, by association, the colour green. Both Christians and non-Christians celebrate the secular version of the holiday by wearing green or orange, eating Irish food and/or green foods, imbibing Irish drink (such as Guinness) and attending parades.

∙ 13y agoTraditional clothing for a man would be a crimsom homespun skirt or kilt with a simple black bonice. Traditional ctothing for a lady would be a simple solid colored earth toned dress or "peasant" dress wiht ribbons formed into flowers or crosses.

Guys wear special green dancing shoes and a certain green uniform
