Thailand really only has two seasons, wet and dry. It is always hot in the dry months between October and May. April tends to be the hottest month. It rains very little during this time. During the wet season, it rains often, sometimes daily in the wettest months, such as August. The main tourist season coincides with the dry season, really picking up in December. The northern parts of Thailand do get a little cooler in the dry season. December and January may see temperatures in the 70-80 degree Fahrenheit range during the day.
