"Gradient" of a point quantity is a measurement of how fast it changes in a
specific direction.
For topography, the gradient of the land is its slope in some direction. It would
work out to be dimensionless, because it has to be change in elevation/distance
which is length/length no matter what units you use for the elevation or distance.
I believe it is a Thematic map.
A topographic map shows equal lines of elevation, in set distances which can vary between maps (dependent on the grade of elevation change). elevation, relief, and slope.
A topographic map would show elevations and contours.

What I need is a topographic map!
a topographic map
a contour map What type of map shows elevations and locations? A Topographic Map
I believe it is a Thematic map.
A topographic map of the Atlantic Coastal Plain differs from a topographic map of the Rocky Mountains because the topographic map of the Atlantic Coastal Plain has much higher altitudes.
A topographical map.

it will be eaisier to have a topographic map of the widerness.
A topographic map shows equal lines of elevation, in set distances which can vary between maps (dependent on the grade of elevation change). elevation, relief, and slope.
