There are three versions of the 1910 issue German 20 Mark note. The more common have no watermark and are worth $80-$100 in uncirculated condition ($30-50 in Very Fine). The less common example with a watermark reading "20 Mark" is worth $350 in UNC and $150 in VF.

The last issue German 20 Mark note, dated 1993, is worth $30 in mint uncirculated condition and face value if used (about $10 - the note can be exchanged at a German bank for Euro).

Older notes can be worth more.

There are two variations of the 1948 twenty (zwanzig) Mark note. The more common has a 7-digit serial number and is worth $10 in mint uncirculated condition (and just $0.50 in very good used state). The less common 6-digit serialised notes are worth $30 (Unc) and $2 (VG).
