All Walking Liberty silver "dollars" issued in recent years are actually bullion pieces containing one ounce of silver. Thus they're worth a small amount more than the spot price of silver, currently about $12 or $13 an ounce.

Be careful not to be thrown a curve by the fact that this design was previously used on half dollars issued from 1916 to 1947.

Well, I recently came across one of these coins. Someone bou ght a beer at my store with it and advised me that I should buy it from my drawer. I have been researching it and it goes for about 25-76 dollars on ebay. So, a collector may very well be willing to give u more that just 14 dollars.
