If you found it in change, 25¢. It's from the last set of State and Territories quarters issued 1999-2009.
And please check your pocket change. E Pluribus Unum (From many, one) is the national motto of the US and is on all coins so it's not something that can be used to identify any specific US coin.
The Northern Mariana Islands are a US territory. The last year of the State and Territory Quarters series featured the 6 parts of the US that aren't states:Washington, DCGuamPuerto RicoAmerican SamoaUS Virgin IslandsNorthern Mariana Islands
they are not rare because i have one too. that means someone else can have one too. i found that the northern mariana Islands quarter are officially the scarcest of all 2009 quarters with only 72,800,000 produced compared to any of the 50 State quarters. i got that on www.kgbanswers.com/how-rare-are-the-northern-mariana-islands-quarter/10900473
It's not and error just one of the U.S. Territories Quarters for 2009
There are 5 territory quarters: Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands. There was also a quarter for Washington D.C.
37,600,000 Thirty seven million, six hundred thousand Northern Marina Islands Quarters have been stamped and let out for the public banks. There will not be any more of these quarters produced because this certain quarter represented the sixth and final release of the 2009 DC and US territories quarter program.
If you mean which US 25¢ piece will be issued as the 3rd territorial quarter, the coins in order of issuance are: # Washington, DC # Puerto Rico # Guam # American Samoa # US Virgin Islands # Northern Mariana Islands If you mean what the 3rd fiscal quarter of the year is, July-September (as you can tell by looking at any calendar)
Rephrase question please
Not at all.
This question is confusing. With a date of 1890, the coin would be a Liberty Seated quarter, but they do not have the motto E-PLURIBUS-UNUM. Please take a closer look at the date and post new question.
i hate to say this, but unfortunatly is only 25 cents. Hint the word "Quarter" in it. There are 1.7 billion of themCorrectionE Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One) is the nation motto of the US and is found on ALL American coins and bills. That means all quarters have the motto, and calling one of them an "e pluribus unum quarter" isn't at all specific. You need to know the coin's design, date, and mint mark to ID it.
the back of the quarter is the motto of the United States: E pluribus unum which means "From many, one"
A lot of coins say E Pluribus Unum. If the date says 1776-1976, it's a bicentennial quarter, half dollar, or dollar. Whichever coin you have, it's worth face value.
