Barclays Bank is privately owned and does not, and never has, issued its own coinage.

Any coins purchased from Barclays Bank, will be some sort of commemorative coin minted at the Royal Mint and may be packaged in a Barclays Bank presentation pack or similar.

Mass produced modern coins are worth very little.....25p - £1 max. These were struck in cupro-nickel (assuming you are referring to the 1977 25p piece).
