Fabrique nationale d'armes de guerre herstal belgique browning s patent depose 203144 can anyone tell me where to find out more about the gun and its value?
I own a .22 Brownings rifle . Made by Fabrique Nationale. I am attenpting to resore it. The tube that goes through the stock for feeding rounds into the chamber does not retain the ammo rounds. It is a tube with a spring inside. What prevents the rounds from shooting out before inserting the tube back into the rifle. Anny info will be much appreciated.online 1127169@
What is the age of a 22 cal pump action repeater rifle stamped with Brownings Patent-Depose Fabrique Nationale Darmes De Guerre Herstal Belgique sn 48437 it also has other markings need answer?
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
Impossible to answer without a detailed description of all markings, type of action, box, papers, etc.

Henry lever 22 cal ----------breach loading rifle
Depends a lot on what type of rifle, patent alone doesn't cut it.
How much is a rifle marked Henry's Patent October 16 1860 and King's Patent March 29 1866 and serial 21454?
send me a picture of the rifle
That's a patent date, you need to atleast describe what kind of rifle you have, pump, bolt, something.... Patent dates nor serials a model specific.
There were three different Winchester lever-action Models with the 1866 patent... the Model 1866, the Model 1873, and the Model 1876. The 1866 patent date refers to King's patent for the side loading gate mechanism.
Depending on condition, about $100. Your rifle is POSSIBLY a Stevens.
.222 Remington model
Here's a place where you can get the answer to your question.
modal 5833402 pat. no.3018577
US Patent Office
No published sn data.
You will have to call Browning.
That could be several rifle models, need at least a description to try and understand model and condition, condition, and condition!
Where can you find information about a 22 Stevens that says short and long or long rifle and has a patent date?
The patent date should be just in from of the bolt under the rear sight. But only if it is a bolt action!!!!
Try the US Patent Office
Quite a few have, Winchester is one.

In general terms, the Henry Repeating Rifle is considered to be the forefather of the Winchester Model 1866 (the first such rifle and Model to bear the "Winchester" name). Tyler B. Henry was the inventor of the Henry Rifle, and was granted the patent for his creation on October 16th, 1860.
Your Mossberg was made prior to 1968, and will not have a serial number unless made for the US Military. SNs were not required by law on rifle and shotguns until 1968. Patent Pending means that a patent has been applied for- but not yet granted- on some mechanism in that rifle.
Could anyone tell me how to find the serial no iv'e looked on the barrel it says browning arms co st louis mo montreal p q made in belgium 22 long rifle brownings patent thank you?
You need to look on the receiver which is the main part of the gun behind the barrel. It should be a letter and number combination. It is probably on the lower right side od the frame, or else on the bottom forward of the trigger housing. The serial number would not be on the barrel.
ive seen it in auctions sold for $1500
as much as the buyer will pay -- be firm--
Impossible to answer without knowing who made it.

Idunno the answer to yer question, but I have one too that was left to me by my late uncle who got it from yet another late uncle. Since it's been in the family forever, I thought I'd try to find out more about it too. Mine doesn't have a patent No. , It just says patent pending, so it must be older than yours. I hope someone's able to shed some insight on the… Read More
I highly suspect that the rifle has an octagon (8-sided) barrel. The October 7th, '79 patent date strongly points towards the rifle being a Browning or Winchester Single Shot rifle. The serial number on the barrel or the lower tang will help solve the mystery.
That is not the serial number. It is the Patent Number. The serial number is found below this number. The Model 37 I have has this patent number on it and the serial number is 24071. I would also like to know the manufacture date of this rifle.

John Browning made his first gun at the age of 10, but his first patent was in 1878, it was the 1878 Single Shot Rifle.
What is the value of a Winchester 33 caliber rifle with patent aug211894model 1894 serial number 124566?
In very good original shape 2800-4500-us dollars
The Nerf Redshift was a Nerf Sniper rifle from the Nerf Wii game. Some of the guns there had a patent pending, but I don't think Redshift was on the list. If it was then it should come out next year or later depending on when the patent is accepted (if it is), if it is then it should be pretty good for sniping in a Nerf war.
With the serial number that you have provided, your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1900.
Made from 1932-1936. Value can reach $400 in excellent condition. firstname.lastname@example.org
I heard a few rifles from 1917 and 1915 that sold for about $1,000
The '1864' marking you are seeing is part of a patent date, not a model number. Stevens guns generally will have the 1864 patent date through about 1916, and there were a great many models produced on the same basic action that would show that patent date. If you can send us detailed digital pictures, we can help you identify which model you have and go from there. email@example.com
