It depends on both the coin's condition and mint mark. The following is from sammler.com, an excellent German website. To translate the terminology, ss is roughly U.S. "Good", vz is "Fine" or "Very Fine", and unz is "Uncirculated". To convert EUR to USD, multiply by 1.35.

1942 A ss 1,00EUR vz 2,00EUR unz 6,00EUR 1942 B ss 6,50EUR vz 12,50EUR unz 25,00EUR 1942 D ss 2,50EUR vz 5,00EUR unz 12,50EUR 1942 E ss 6,50EUR vz 12,50EUR unz 25,00EUR 1942 F ss 2,50EUR vz 5,00EUR unz 12,50EUR 1942 G ss 6,50EUR vz 12,50EUR unz 25,00EUR 1942 J ss 2,50EUR vz 5,00EUR unz 12,50EUR

It depends on the condition of the coin. If it's absolutely perfect, bright and shiny like new, like it left the mint yesterday, with full luster, untouched by human hands, about $85.

If its been in people's pockets and throwing around in a drawer for eighty years, its not in "brilliant uncirculated" condition as described above. The next grade down is "extra fine" and you should be able to see all original details, like the veins in the middle of the leaves, there should be only the slightest amount of wear, no more, then its worth $11.

If it has more wear, details have been rubbed away, then its at best "very fine" and worth $2.

What is the value of a 1934 J US 10 dollar silver certificate?

"D" is the highest letter for all 1934-dated $10 bills regardless of whether they're silver certificates or Federal Reserve Notes.
