Dear Fans,

Hello .... I have been collecting Autographs since 1959 ...... I started right after Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens died ... along with Roger Peterson the Pilot.

OK, an autograph of Hulk Hogan. Early signatures of him signed with "different names" he used --- don't pull in alot but are very collectiable .. meaning people like myself collect all variations of someone's signature.

With celebrities now charging and/or getting paid/or having agents - Hogan's autograph has gone up.

His gladly signed for me and my son while Wrestling here in San Diego.

In the mid 1980's a 3x5 card (most common way to collect: signatures) - would go for $10.00 to $35.00. It depended on how long you had to wait.

Hogan has always been what collector's refer to as: "a good signer." He is very nice and always wants to please. Now that he has an agent for "signing purposes" - his signed photos are going for about $150-$175.

That comes with a COA and a picture of him signing the item. However,

Hulk Hogan ... I still believe would sign for free for anyone if they catch him at an event and are polite. Three things to remember when collecting:

(1) Never bother ANY celebrity when they are sitting down to eat with

their family or friends.

(2) Never go to their homes - EVER.

(3) Never ask for more than two items to be signed.

Hulk Hogan's signature has changed somewhat through the years - WHY ?

If you signed your name 10,000+ times a MONTH - yours would change to.

Thus, my early autograph of Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Randy "Macho Man" Savage - are nicer and clearer than the ones they would sign

today.

A final thought, Hulk Hogan I understand was served with divorce papers.

Thus, his life has been turned upside down. Plus, his son was in a car accident recently and made it thru OK - but the passenger isn't doing well. When it comes to his family - from what little I know and have seen - his family means everything to him ... so I can only imagine what he and his family are going through. Remember this, there are moments when "we collectors" need to NOT ask for an autograph - but rather wish them well and shake their hand .. and let them go on their way.

One of the things Hulk Hogan use to say when being interviewed by the famous "Mean Gene" Okerland - way back in the late 80's-mid 90's ...... "say your prayers, etc." If you are a true fan I strongly suggest that you do just that - pray for the entire family and also his son's friend who is is critical injured in the hospital.

I can be contacted at: bossman1959@gmail.com

Yours,

Dean C.

It really depends on what it is written on. A napkin with his signature on it is worth way less than a microphone or guitar with his signature on it is worth.
