What is the value of a Marlin 12 gage Model 55 with 11 inch barrel and a short stock?

If the barrel is really 11 inches and you do not have a federal tax stamp to show for this gun it is worth about 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both.
Shotguns with barrel length under 18 inches (measured from the breech face) fall under the NFA and must be registered with the ATF as short barrel shotguns and a $200 tax must be paid. The paperwork must be done before acquiring or making the gun.
