What is the value of a Winchester model 74 22L rifle?
Can vary from 100-400 USD or so
Did you load it with .22L (Long) or .22 LR (Long Rifle)? As long as the bolt opens rearward or can be removed, you should be able to safely remove the cartridge by gently running a cleaning rod down the barrel to push it out the breach. If the bolt will not open at all now, do not try to force it...take it to a gun shop/gun smith.
Rifle says premier only uses 22s 22L 22L rifle 24 in barrel and is an octagon barrel you need the forearm?
What model number is a Remington auto rifle with one piece solid stock barrel marked 22 s 22l 22lr circa 1950?
Can anyone help you identify the variation of a marlin model 39 serial number ta04140 it's a take-down labeled 22 SLLR Thanks?
Chances are that the letters TA represent the words take apart.Which infers take down. The only production model 39 rifles with this feature were the original models made from 1922-1938.The label of 22SLLR indicates that your rifle can fire all 3 cartridges, the 22S(short),22L(long)or the 22LR(long rifle). It should be noted that you may have a promotional model that was made sometime later in the production span of the model 39.I would advise contacting Marlin directly for more…
Technically speaking, if one fired a .223 (5.56) it could kill at that range. If you are speaking of a .22LR or .22L, it is almost entirely impossible. The only way that a .22 could kill at that distance, is if you fired it at a very high angle and the bullet somehow landed in the eye socket, or punctured an artery in the arm. Just my $0.02
