Hawes was an importer of replica percussion revolvers. The brass frame .36cal. with an unengraved cylinder is actually a replica Confederate Schneider & Glassick. There are only three original Schneider & Glassick revolvers known to exist. Value of the Hawes replica Schneider & Glassick would be $200-$300.
I don't know an exact price for the Hawes navy but I saw one in an auction sell for around $300.00 awhile back
New never fired..$175.00
I do not believe there is a detailed serial number date list out there for Hawes, but it was most likely built in the late 60's or early 70's.
Not sure it had a model number. Made in Italy and imported by Hawes and others.
Depends on model and condition (we cannot tell either from a serial number) but could range from $100-$300.
$125
Most of the Hawes .22 revolvers are valued at $100-$175, depending on exact model and condition.
Model 237, made in Monza, Italy. 1968-1972
Impossible to answer with information given. No make, no model, no condition?
No published history.
$100-$200, depending on model and condition.
With a letter in the serial number, I doubt if it is a genuine Colt. Probably manufactured in Italy sometime in the 1960s or 1970s.
Hawes imported inexpensive black-powder Italian reproductions, so the value is not going to be high. Doubtful the grips are actually ivory. sales@countrygunsmith.net *go to Bluebooks Publications, Inc...Firearms...bottom of page offers appraisals for $20.00/2% if above $500.00.
how do I de-code my model/serial#? model # E4BRCIC and serial # E0001509
