Well, you always want to look at the main thing to make sure it is what you want to be finallized and maybe even published. But, you want to do it before doing it on the grammar level because you might take out certain parts. For example- say that you editied all of the grammar, spelling, anf grammar level, but then you took out a whole paragraph at the 'big picture' level. Not only is that editing that you first did now gone to waste, but you also have to do two paragraphs more. And then you did that with the next one. You could end up wasting twice as much time doing it out of order, and no one wants to do that.

Did the Romans punctuate their writing?

I would say, no. The Romans did not follow our rules of English grammar. Any direct Roman writing that I have seen had no punctuation. The beginning and ending of sentences depended on the relationship of the words in the sentence. All the punctuation seems to have been an addition by scholars to make reading easier.

Are capital letters punctuations?

No, capital letters are not considered punctuation. Capital letters are used at the beginning of a sentence or proper noun to indicate the start of a new thought or to emphasize a specific word. What the meaning of conceptual skill?

conceptual skills refer to the ability to form concepts. These are various levels of cognitive (mainly verbal) abstractions beginning with the exercise of denotating simple physical objects (e.g. a cat) to higher level abstractions which go beyond the physically visible (e.g. truth). In everyday use, we also say someone has conceptual skills who is able to look at patterns of objects and events and label them (with a concept word), which identifies, organizes and makes sense of the pattern, trend, or configuration of objects or events, with a putative explanatory intent.
