You guys can skip this part at the top! It's just an introduction!

Normally, dancers have a pretty strict routine because of how demanding the art of dance is. I've been dancing for many years myself and still I have to do the beginner things every so ofter. It is Summer break right now for me though so I have had a little bit of resting hear and there and I'm sure it is the same with most dancers who are still in elementary school, like me but I'm going into grade 7 so it's not like I have a lot of free time. Also, this applies to all dancers not just ballet dancers who have an extremely strict diet. If you want to read their diet I suggest you read only the light weighted foods in this category and also their way of living.

Morning:

5am- Wake up and have healthy breakfast of half a cup of water and Barley Max (a drink filled with healthy vegetables and is high in nutrient's. For other dancers (who don't do Ballet) I suggest you have those two necessities but also have some hard-boiled but don't have any salt or pepper.

5:30am Do stretches! Some stretches that you could do include picking one foot up and extending it to the front, flexing and pointing the feet, then turn your leg to the side and stay as long as possible. Do same thing on the other side. Pull back one leg and put it behind you, trying to touch your foot to the head, do same thing for the other side. Do a back bend, starting in the stand up position and go as far down as you can! Later, for the arms, put them behind your back and interlace the two bend down as far as you can go and have your legs far apart, pulling the arms over your head. Another good tip is to do yoga every morning! You can look up some poses online, or buy a book on yoga, just like I have!

6:30am- This is normally the time when all the dancers go to dance class or work and have to push them selves to the limit. If you don't go to dance class in the morning, I suggest you try to get some more rest by meditating or if you like more stretches.

7:30am- This is the main time when it is most busiest for dancers. Have a shower, have a quick snack of Barley Max, and get dressed for school or work. This is also a time for dancers to catch up on things that need to be done such as cleaning room, perfecting dance choreography, and finishing homework assignments.

8am-Chop, chop, chop little dancers! It's time to hurry off to school or work to get the day done!

10am to 11:45 am- For most dancers it really depends when they get their recess or lunch breaks. Mine is usually at 10am and then we have lunch at 11:45 am. The dietary needs for this are extremely variable. Most dancers don't eat lunch because it does not agree with the criteria that their dancing instructors need. Dancers who do eat lunch, you guys should pack some fruit or vegetable salad (no dressing), some more Barley Max, and 1 and a half cups on water.

Afternoon:

3pm- This is normally the time that dancers get off of work or school and get ready to go home. At this time, they will do their chores like homework, tidying up the house, and things like that.

4pm- Have half a cup of water again so you can hydrate yourself. Also, dancers like to go to dance at this time so that they can get the practice started.

5pm- Most dancers will have finished dance for the day or are getting ready for the next dance class. Have some unsalted nuts to treat yourself.

Evening:

6pm- Finish up some dance numbers and start stretching! When ever you have free time, it's always a good idea to start stretching because it will help you to not become tense. Off you go to another dance class!

7pm- This is normally the time where dancers start heading home for dinner. For dinner, it's the most important meal for a dancer because it fuels you for a good nights sleep. Start with a green salad and try to find a good organic dressing to go with it. Have some carrot juice with the dinner. You can also have a side dish of brown rice, potatoes, pasta, or yams but only have 2 cooked meals per day or else it can lead to bad stomach digestion.

7:45pm- Time to have a nice shower but only wash your hair every second night. It is good to clean your body to get all the bacteria and smelliness off, but if you wash your hair every night, it can lead to hair loss.

8pm- Brush your teeth, get into some pj's and have some down time! You can do whatever you like at this time. Practice some dance moves, watch tv, chat with a friend, anything that keeps you calm.

8:30pm- It's always a good idea for dancers to go to bed early so they can wake up early and cleanse and heal their bodies. If you feel snackish before bed, have a fruit such as an apple or pear.

Caution: Do not follow this routine if you are diabetic, have serious medical conditions, or cancer. Monitor your daily food and water and try to have at least 2L of water per day. People who are just trying to lose weight, you may want to have slightly larger portions of food and take it down slower day by day.

HAVE A NICE DAY AND I HOPE YOU FOUND THIS USEFUL!
