Well, it can be called several things... epilogue, postscript, afterword... and there are lots of specialized things that you could see at the end of a book too, like Glossaries or an Index, or an Appendix, or an Addendum. :) Grouped together, all the stuff at the back is called "back matter."

Blurb is promotional text, generally written by the publisher. The word was apparently coined by the American humorist Gelett Burgess in 1907. He gave the name Miss Belinda Blurb to a young woman depicted on the cover of a book, and evidently intended to attract readers.
In earlier times to praise extravagantly was called "to puff". Sheridan, in his play The Critic named one character Mr Puff; he promotes books in an unscrupulous manner.
