Hook up a meter to either the lock wire or unlock wire, press the lock button and the the unlock button. you will see the meter go to 12v on 1 press and open circuit on the other. if its just 12v and ground, then its positive polarity door locks.

It should lock and unlock with the power door locks. If it is stuck in the locked position, there is a lever in the trunk on the driver's side behind the carpet that will unlock it.
Depends on what part of the locks are not working.. the remote?, the lock button?, a certain door?, the manual lock slider?
If the locks and rear window hatch on a 1998 Chevy Blazer lock and unlock by themselves, there is probably a problem with the fuse or a short somewhere. The locks are supposed to lock when the vehicle gets put in gear. Perhaps the system that tells the locks when to lock is not working properly.
I'm having the same problem. Relays working fine and door locks have some movement, but do not lock or unlock all the way. Hope we find out the problem.
Same problem, but didn't replace the dome light. The locks will unlock but not lock.
The driver door does not unlock the power locks for a few reasons. This motor could be burned out or the wires could not be attached correctly.
Should be a button on center console..Just underneath hanbrake button.
No, that is not a fuse issue. I would suspect this is a switch or wiring issue.
