If the dome lights and the radio went out at the same time on a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo, it could be a fuse. There are two fuse boxes on that vehicle. One is on the passenger side in the engine compartment and one is located in the dash on the driver's side. The fuse for the radio is in the dash fuse box.
It is possible that there is a problem with moisture causing a short circuit if all the dash lights come on. It could also be a faulty relay or alternator.

It could be that the circuit board on the back of youre cluster is damaged and needs to be replaced. The light bulbs are also linked like a set of X-mas lights, if one is burned out the others could not work.
The oil light could be blinking in an Isuzu Rodeo because it is time to get the oil changed. This could also occur if the oil is low.

Depending on the transmission type, the neutral safety could be located in several places on the transmission. If the switch is bad, the Rodeo could either start in any gear, or not start at all.
