Ignition switch 2002 Chrysler sebring. Original key will not turn? Is there a fuse or replace the switch?
turn signals won't work. changed all the bulbs. Hazard lights work. 1999 Chrysler Sebring hardtop
I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible. If you turn off the ignition and remove the key while the headlights are on, then turn off the headlights, the headlights will stay on for 30 seconds and turn off. You can avoid this by turning the lights off before you turn off the car or by switching them on and off again.
I just took my 97 sebring convertable in for no turn signals, wipers, rear defroster and radio. They replaced the ignition switch and now everthing works.
To reset the oil warning light on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Slowly push the accelerator down three times. Next, turn the ignition to the lock position and the warning light should be gone.
It's the wrong key maybe!
To disable it or put it on again . Turn ignition key on and off 4 times
Perhaps you have the wrong key
Replace the tumbler assembly, it is broken.
cylinders in lock are bad-spring in ignition is broken and jammed-wrong key?
it is either the key is worn out or the key cylinder in the ignition is worn out.
Wrong key - or - defective ignition switch.
If it does not turn over, but the lights work, you have a bad starter.
The tumblers in the key cylinder have most likely become stuck in the wrong position and you will have to replace the ignition key cylinder.
Bad ignition switch or wrong key.Just replace with new switch about $10.00 NAPA
If I remember correctly, 25,50,50 ft lbs and then a quarter turn.
It could be the keyswitch or the starter could be wired wrong.
The ignition tumbler will not turn and you will not be able to start the car.
key is worn... jiggle it whilst turning... make a new key
I have a 2002 Sebring Limited Convertible and my battery is located and "accessable" on the driverside front wheel well. To change the battery you need to turn the wheel all the way to the right and remove a cover to expose the battery. Good Luck! it's no easy task!
ingnition switch locks up on 2003 Ford Mustang and only way car will start is if you can turn steering wheel back and forth to get ignition key to turn
One of your tie rods is likely broken. Did you Hit a curb or something?
could be your ignition
lets start real simple, wrong ignition key, ignition key lock jammed or broken, alot of times all you have to do is turn the steering wheel just enough to get the load off the steering wheel lock and then the key will turn. tahts about it.
