could be many of things. debris in fuel tank, looses vaccum pressure,dirty fuel filter, dont know what kinda truck you got but most likely its a fuel blockage some where

Not yet, but if you keep doing that you will. The problem is properly in the oil pump or oil pump pickup. Have the truck towed to reputable garage, where they can give you a definitive answer.
