You could have a faulty fuel pressure regulator or defective ignition switch. You're not real clear on the starting problem as to whether it won't crank or just takes several tries before it starts. Maybe you just need a tune-up.
Physically has a turning problem ? Try your spare key and still has the problem? Replace the ignition switch.
The ignition switch is immediately behind and attached to the ignition lock cylinder. The ignition lock cylinder is where you place the key to start your vehicle. If you are haveing problems with your vehicle not starting and or turning the key, more than likely you need to replace the ignition lock cylinder. It is common for these to go bad in GM vehicles.

I have a 2000 Olds Silohuette. I just reset the "Change Oil" light by turning the ignition to on(DO NOT START THE VEHICLE), pushing the accelerator down to the floor 6 times, turning the ignition off, and then starting the van. The light did not come on. Hopefully this will help.
