Humans share a common ancestor with apes and monkeys. Apes and monkeys are more like our cousins than our grandparents. Thus present day monkeys can not be our ancestors, humans can not be evolved from monkeys.
Guessing your talking about primates such as spider monkeys moreso than gorillas (whose only predators are humans). Monkeys have to watch out for snakes (mainly larger species e.g. Boa Constrictor), birds of prey, and most importantly, humans.

Because of science and you said so. This is wrong statement. Most of the humans behave as if there is no God. They do prayer as a formality on various occasions. True prayer comes, when there is some serious problem and there is no solution to it.
