y=3x+3 is in slope intercept form where the 3 in 3x is the slope of a line and the 3 after the plus sign is the y intercept. slope intercept form is written as y=mx+b; m=slope, b= y intercept meaning that the y intercept is the number you put on the y axis and for this equation the coordinates would be (0,3) and for the slope you can just think of it as "rise over run" and 3= 3/1 and the 3 is the rise meaning that when you put the coordinates on a graph for b then you go up 3 and then over 1 which would be 1 over to the right..... ok that was a lot i hope you understand im in algebra 1 right now and just learned this not that long ago

y = -x + 3

y - 3 = -x

-y + 3 = x

Therefore x = 3 - y
