I am not anyone of extreme knowledge with supporting evidence BUT it sucks to not have a question answered.

SO, I believe that not recycling causes so many problems. The one I worry about most is that landfills hold so much 'trash' already, and if we keep pouring anything and everything into that pile of junk then eventually we will run out of space and will have to resort elsewhere. We have already considered multiple locations but honestly is that what you want to do to our home planet?? NO. So RECYCLE!! It would eliminate a lot of the landfill because there is obviously no way to change that so change the amount of 'stuff' that is thrown into the pile. Also, it saves money and reuses resources which is ALWAYS something appreciated.

* I don't know how they recycle aluminum or steel. Do they? * I take the newspapers outside but it's easier to put them in the trash. How do they recycle paper anyway? * And can you really save trees by recycling paper? How crazy is that!

* I don't know what all the numbers mean on plastic. It's too confusing.

* How do they recycle glass anyway. * I don't have much garbage anyway. How much would I throw away in a year? * I don't want to be scraping paper off tins. Do I have to? Anyway, I bet the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. All that trouble!

It is all because of money. In days like this where the economy is bad it is more cost effective to make plastic and paper from scratch. Warehouses and suppliers have surplus the cost to purchase everything things new are cheap. When the economy is booming and doing well the price of raw materials go up and consumption is high, used paper and plastic is cheaper to recycle instead of starting from scratch.

Countries like china do not care about the environment and are only concerned with increasing their industry. Recycling costs money and it is cheaper to acquire materials in bulk than to recycle. Also, some people do not want recycled goods because it does not have the same quality fresh materials and some people arent concerned with recycling because they personally will not be alive long enough to be affected by their actions.

Sometimes, it is that people just do not bother much. Everybody has the ability to recycle even the smallest things, but it is the mindset that hinders us. We might just be too caught up with our own work that we do not care about the environment around us anymore.

People litter for several reasons:

*No trash bin nearby

*Laziness

*They were never taught no to

*They have no regard for the environment.

They don't recycle because:

*There are no facilities to do so in their area

*They have no regard for the environment

*Laziness

People are hard to understand. There are other reasons, I'm sure. These are just the typical ones.
