The gravitational force between the sun and each object in the solar system
The Sun's strong gravity keeps all the planets in orbit around it.
The force of the Sun's gravity keeps them in their orbits.
Basically, If the sun had no gravity we would be drifting off into space and we wouldn't orbit anything. but Because the sun has gravity it pulls the planets in, allowing them to orbit the sun. Without the gravity of the sun there would be nothing to stop us from flying out into the cold darkness of space. As a matter of fact without the force of gravity there would be nothing if that could exist but an infinitesimally fine misty characterless soup that would never bind together. Whose solar system?
gravity?
Like all other planets and other objects in the solar system, including you, Venus is kept in orbit by the Sun's gravity, which is exacty balanced by its acceleration towards the Sun, which appears as a continuous inward curve towards the Sun.
The force of gravity is what keeps planets and other objects in orbit around the sun, along with the angular momentum of the planets and objects. Without gravity, they would just fly away into space, and without angular momentum, they would just fall into the sun. But both of those together produce orbital motion.
The Sun's strong gravity keeps all the planets in orbit around it.
Its gravity keeps them in their orbits, just like all the objects in the solar system.
The Sun's strong gravity keeps all the planets in orbit around it.
gravity
It keeps the solar system together because without it we would be floating around. :)
The suns gravitational pull keeps all the planets revolving around it. Without it, all the planets would go flying off into who knows where (including Earth) and the planets would of course crash into other objects and everything and everyone on Earth would die.
The gravity of there star keeps them on path and a planets moon is sun around by its planets gravitational force
Gravity and velocity (inertia) keeps planets in orbit around suns.
Because the sun's gravitational pull keeps the planets in orbit.
Gravity is the force which keeps them there.
Gravity and motion. Gravity pulls the planets in and keeps them from flying away, while the velocity of the planets keeps them from being sucked in completely.
