Your best bet is a good quality porch and floor enamel. A textural additive (the is one called "Sharkskin") may be combine with the paint to reduce the chance of slipping, however it will reduce the longevity of the paint as well.

there are a few options. Paint with aggregate scattered in or self-adhesive tape both of which hide the appearance of the surface below. Alternatively check-out skidproof.co.uk they seem to have a clear anti-slip coating that goes on any surface.

One with good wear characteristics. Ask the people at the paint store what they recommend. It doesn't do you, or us, a lot of good to recommend a kind of paint you can't readily get where you are.

The cheapest and possibly most effective method is to buy a small bag of ground walnut shell in the paint store and apply this along with the paint of your choice.
