Most people that become pharmacists are usually degreed in areas of science and physics and then have to go on to Pharmacology school which is 5 years if you combine The Bachelor's and pharmocology degree since most people go from undergrad to pharmacy school concurently.
All pharmacists are required to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and also pass two exams to obtain a license to practice as a pharmacist. Coursework in pharmacy includes intensive study of chemistry, Biology and anatomy, as well as pharmacology and medical ethics.
