The best toys for hamsters are toys such as a hamster ball, playpen, playpen playsets, flavored chewing twigs, wooden obstacles, and a hamster wheel. One of the best hamster wheels are called Silent Spinners. These are very convient for your hamster and you, because when you are trying to catch up on some sleep, the wheel isn't as noticable as metal wheels, and also help your Hamster get the required amount of exercise! The Silent Spinners are also simple to clean, considering they are made of plastic. A Hamster Playpen is also a great advantage to have your hamster run around in. The Hamster Playpen by Animal Planet set includes a plastic mat to clean up any urine or feces left by your Hamster conviently and to keep your Hamster from having contact with anything dangerous or hazardous objects, such as graphite lead from a pencil tip, and maintain the cleansliness of your home. The cage that goes on top of the mat has vertical bars, which keeps the Hamster from escaping or getting injured by falling from long distances. Other Playsets are available in your local Pet Store to add on to the playpen to keep your furry little friend entertained for a long time! Flavored chewing twigs from your local pet store is a wonderful toy for your pet! This will help maintain their teeth, and prevent their molars from becoming too large as to where they refuse to eat due to severe pain of the molars and may also cause disorders such as diaherra. If you do notice these symptoms, you may contact your vet and schedule an appointment to have the molars shaved down to a shorter length. Wooden obstacles are entertaining for your hamster, and helps them adapt to Their environment as They would in the Wild. Plastic obstacles are great too if they are just tall enough for your Hamster to climb. If They are not able to climb, They will become frustrated and develop an apethetic disposition. A clear hamster ball is also a wonderful toy for the little fellows to roam around and explore a new environment.
Well, If you just had your first then probably a starter cage and if you have had one before anyone really but I highly advice you not to get one with tubes because hamsters grow and it WILL get stuck and its possibble that you may not be able to get it out!!
-Hamsters particularly love ladders and things to climb to on
-hamster balls( the hamster goes inside and run about in it- you can purchase these from Pets at Home and most pet shops),
-Plain, scrumpled up pices of plain paper, loo roll and kitchen roll
-Empty loo roll tubes (you can cut these into interesting shapes)
-You can collect small carboard, card and paper boxes and cut holes in them or connect some to each other na dleave them in your hamsters cage
-Scrumple up some plain paper and put a few bits of hamste food, small pieces of carrot or hamster treats inside. It's really sweet to watch them trying to get to the food inside!
-Any wooden tubes or tunnels are great for hamsters!
Your hamster should start to chew and play with the toy. I tried this with my hamster and she loves it. After your pet has chewed the food out detach the toy from the cage and it will work as a tube. 2 toys in 1!!
If you have a wire cage: Do the same as above except you don't need the paper clip. Just slide the tube through the wires in the top of the cage.
Second ToyCardboard BoxHamsters love cardboard boxes to sleep and cuddle in. Grab a cereal box for example and place it in your hamster cage. Try cutting holes for windows and putting some bedding in it to make your furry friend more comfy. Pretty simple!! Third ToyPlain Old TubeThe best things in life are the simple things... at least hamsters think so. If you just stick a plain tube in your hamster's cage it will have fun chewing and running through it.They love to play with anything. Things that are safe to chew are the best. Toilet paper or paper towel rolls ( pick off the glue) are fun for them. Pet stores have large varieties of toys for them. They love chew toys, hamster ball and hamster wheels!
hamsters need chew toys and running balls and running wheels and tubes and ladders
without stainless steel, do NOT use any kind of bird cage! Aquariums are fine, but have a mesh covering.
u should put dwarf hamster toys in there or food and water
ONLY dwarf hamster toys!
a hamster cage
The best kind of cage you can get for your hamster is a wire cage with a plastic bottom. It is well ventilated and the hamster can climb.
a warm blanket in a cage
an alarm cage
the best cage for a hamster (if you have a cat) would be a plastic one not a wire cage. but still keep the cage away from your cat as much as you can so the cat doesn't knock it over or something.
You can't really improve a hamster cage when you have animals that might hurt your hamster in the house. The best cage is the Cage that has all the requirments of a normal cage. If you have animals at home that might hurt your animal, place it in a secure high location that your animal will not reach. For more Information, visit: wwwhamsterownerswebs.webs.com
Probably the best place to a hamster cage is pets at home. I bort a cage that was £19 and I got £4 change.
the one that holds him inside
Yes, it'd be best for the new hamster who is coming in to the cage. And would be much more sanitary.
Its a small or kind of big cage with a plastic bottom and wire top. You put bedding in it and toys. Then a hamster. Go on google images and you can see one. Wow dude. You didn't know that? What part didn't you get? HAMSTER, OR CAGE??????? Yea I'm sorry but that was a gay question. Whats a hamster cage? Really!
at a pet store.
get rid of the hamster or buy a cage for it!!
