When you breastfeed, if the baby has a virus, the saliva the baby transfers to the mother breast during nursing in turn allows the mother to create antibodies which go right to the baby during nursing to fight it off. Also, you are not introducing anything foreign to the baby's intestinal tract which allows the baby's immune system to work full time to fighting off any other ailments the baby could have or get. Formula fed babies tend to get sicker faster and stay sicker longer because their body's immune system is working overtime assisting with digesting rather than fighting off disease.
breast feeding a child boosts their immune system in fighting bacteria and disease and helps other functions like sight, sound and touch, even promotes straighter teeth it is very good for a child to be breast feed or nursed by its mother
Naturally Passive.
Antibodies pass from mother to fetus via placenta, or to infant in her milk.
Passive immunity
Passive, naturally acquired immunity
many pepsinogen molecules remain unchanged
It provides the most suitable composition of milk for the baby, so it will be easier for him/her to digest it (the baby will have less chances of getting diarrhoea, for example). Also, this makes allergies less likely. It contains antibodies, providing passive immunity to the baby. This means that the baby will be protected from diseases that the mother already had, but he will not produce the antibodies him/herself. The milk is already at the correct temperature to feed the baby and no preparation is necessary. Also it is sterile ('clean'), there is no risk of infection from bottled milk. Finally, it protects the mother against breast cancer and helps the body return to normal after pregnancy.
A baby's first milk should ideally be breast-milk from the baby's mother. If breast feeding is not possible, or wanted, then specially formulated baby milk should be used.
Yes, you can supplement breast milk with baby formula, on occasion. Breast milk is best, but if that is not possible, then formula is the next best thing.
The mother's breast milk contains antibiotics , Immunoglobulin , which gives the newborn defense against bacterial infection .
Formula, if it comes from a can, breast milk if it comes from the baby's mother.
its when immunity is passed on. e.g. colostrum (which boosts the babies immune system) in the mothers milk is drunk by the baby. when the baby drinks the milk it will get colostrum, which you would say is immunity because it greatly helps the immune system.
Baby food... breast milk...
It can't unless the milk is scalding hot..which it isn't, fresh breast milk is usually the body temperature of the mother, which is perfect for the baby
No give it breast milk
As your baby nurses, your breasts will refill. You will need to wean your baby from breastfeeding. This means tapering off, not stopping cold turkey. As the "demand" for breast milk decreases, so will the production of milk decrease.
It is not recommended because just like a human baby needs either human breast milk or human formula, baby kittens need either cat breast milk or kitten formula.
