According to the Owners Manual for the 2002 Taurus:
- Page 224 - Vulcan & Flex Fuel use AWSF-32PP 3, DOHC Duratec AWSF-32F
- Page 228 - spark plug gap: Vulcan & Flex Fuel is .042-.046, DOHC Duratec is .052-.056
