∙ 12y agoI recommend LG Cinema 3D TV. It's a full HD 3D TV. 3D TVs generally have better 2D image quality. LG Cinema 3D has LED backlighting and it gives you better 2D and 3D images. I own a LW5600 model and am a serious gamer myself. It has a high refresh rate so if you like playing games that have lots of fast movements, this TV should serve you well. Another thing that I like about this TV is that not only its 3D glasses are flicker free but also are battery free and cheap. I don't have to worry about changing the battery after use to keep it working after playing PS3 for many hours and can even have many friends over to play games with me because the 3D glasses are really cheap. It also allows me to play 2D games in 3D mode using its 2D to 3D conversion feature.

∙ 12y agoFirst you need to verify that the TV has the ability to have PS3 connected by examining the back of the TV for RCA plug inputs. The PS3 comes with a A/V cable with 3 RCA color coded plugs on the back and you plug those in to the back of your TV. HDTV connection with the A/V cable will only provide a standard 480i video and a HDMI cable is normally purchased and used for the HDTVs instead of the A/V cable that comes with the PS3. Other optional PS3 component cables are also available for HDTVs without HDMI connection. Once the PS3 is connected and turned on the TV must to set to the input you have plugged the PS3 A/V cable into and you should receive the PS3 screen

∙ 9y agoAny television that is internet capable can be used for Ps3 game play. Serious gamers prefer to use HD televisions because of the cooler graphics when playing role player games.

∙ 11y agoActually, PlayStation 3 is a Blu-Ray player for the game discs are in fact Blu-Ray disks. Blu-ray Players and PlayStation 3 can only be hooked up to an HDTV using an HDMI cable
