The primary weapon across the war was the muzzle loading rifle. The British had the Brown Bess, their standard weapons for several decades. Smooth bore cannons were also commonly used on the battle field. That was pretty much it. Other than the bayonets and the muzzle loading pistols, there wasn't a lot of variety.
