The major languages spoken by many Africans are Arabic, French, English, Swahili, Hausa, and Portuguese. Many of the North African countries are Muslim and/or Arab countries. Like Egypt, Sudan, Algeria and Somalia, Arabic is the national language.

As for African-Americans and Black Hispanics speak English slang and/or Spanish.

Most Africans speak indigenous languages coming from the Niger-Congo family, they are the second most diverse group from Asia.
