The liquid that would be the most difficult to raise and lower the temperature of would be water. Water has one of the highest specific heat values of other liquids. It's for this reason that water is used to cool hotter materials since it takes more energy to heat.

Which liquid would be most difficult to raise or lower the temp of?

Water.

Taking heat out of the air will do what to the temperature?

Removing heat from the air will lower its temperature.

Does evaporation rais the tempeature of a liquid?

Evaporation does not raise the temperature of a liquid, evaporation happens because of the increasing temperature of that liquid.

Does vasodilation raise or lower body temperature?

vasodilatation reduces body temperature.

Is a brass solid liquid or gas?

Depends on the temperature. the natural state is a solid. If you raise the temperature to its boiling state it will become a liquid and a further raise in temp will convert it to a vapor. (gas)

Would fevers run higher or lower if liquid water's specific heat were not so high?

Fevers would run higher if liquid water's specific heat were lower. The amount of energy need to raise our body temperature would be less. Although the body would still develop control mechanisms to regulate the temperature to prevent heat death of the cells.

What happen to the temperature when ice is heated?

During a phase change (from solid to liquid, as in melting and also from liquid to gas as in boiling) the temperature remains constant, as all of the energy is going to affecting the change, rather than raising the temperature. Once it has changed from solid to liquid, the liquid can then raise in temperature.

Are atoms more attracted to each other when you raise or lower the temperature?

The reaction rate is higher when the temperature increase.

Does the mass of liquid affect the rate of temperature change?

Sure. Other things being equal, you need more energy to raise the temperature of a larger mass of liquid.

Goes salt lower boiling temperature of water?

Salt will lower the melting point, and raise the boiling point of water.

When liquid water is heated most of the energy that the water initially absorbs is used to do?

It is used to raise the temperature of the water.

Can you raise the temperature of a liquid by stirring it and thereby adding energy to the particles?

It's not a phenomenally efficient way of raising the temperature, but in theory, yes.
