I know there are gf beers and wine is gf, but what strong liquors are gluten free?
As far as hard liquor, I have heard that distillation removes gluten but I'm not sure that is true. Any liquor not distilled from grains will not have gluten.
all rum and tequila are gluten free
some vodkas, those distilled from potatoes, are gluten free, check the bottle to see if grain or potatoes were used.
liquers, schnapps, etc, varies from brand to brand
Potato based vodka, Bards Tale beer, RedBrige Beer. always ask the manufacturer to make sure they don't add any other ingredients and ask them if they distill it from gluten or not. manufactures may change their recipes without notice. Wine(keep in mind some manufactures paste the containers with a wheat based mixture so ask the manufacturer about how they process it, some say it does not come off the container into the wine, but i won't personally take chances) and brandies without preservatives and added dyes; potato vodka; most rums and tequila. Meads some will say that all distilled alcohol is gluten free, they claim that distilling removes all gluten, but they still contain Gluten, but you may or may not react to it... But it is still debatable if it still harms your intestines or not.... Im on the side that says it does, some people just have a higher sensitivity level. http://www.csaceliacs.org/gluten_choices.php

Most brands, and the celiac association state that distilled alcohols are gluten free, even when made from grain alcohols. I have found that this is not the case as I still react to such alcohols. This is the most extensive list that I have found, I accumulated it from others research and my own. Hopefully this helps you.
